Unit 9 Is your company going to the fashion fair in Shanghai (第一课时教学设计) 一、学情分析 本教案授课对象是高二会计班,这是一个中专班,学生基础较好。他们愿意发言、参与, 平时英语学习态度较好,但是他们的词汇有限,句法不太了解,因而虽然脑子里有东西,却找 不到相应的英语表达方法,出现不愿意或不敢说的状况。所以在授课过程中,鼓励和引导学生 学会用英语表达、开口讲英语这一点非常重要。 二、教材分析 1. 教学内容 本课时系教材《英语3(基础模块)》(高教版)第九单元的第一课时,包括Lead-in 和 Listening and speaking 两部分。本课时主要让学生了解时装交易会的主要特点,并学习相关词 汇,通过听对话获取具体信息的能力,熟悉常用于交易会的基本句型,同时为培养学生介绍交 易会的口头表达能力做铺垫。 2. 教学重点、难点 (1) 教学重点 学生能了解时装展示会的相关词汇和专业术语,熟悉句型,并结合基本句型介绍展销 会的具体情况。 (2) 教学难点 训练学生在相对真实的情景下用恰当的方式和句型介绍某展销会的相关情况。 三、教学目标 1. 知识目标 (1) 学生能识别fashion fair, fashion show, model, exhibitor, press conference 的意思。 (2) 学生能了解并使用下列句型并咨询信息: May I know ... Can you say / tell me ... When / Where ... What’s the arrangement of... 2. 能力目标 (1) 学生能识别某项活动的举办时间、地点、活动内容和评价等信息。 (2) 学生能运用“Can you say something about ... ” , “What is the arrangement for ... ”和 “Are there any special activities ”等进行信息咨询对话。 3. 情感目标 使学生了解做事要认真,有条理。 四、教学步骤 Step I Lead-in 1. Brain-storming The teacher shows one picture about fashion fair and asks what it is. Ss are then asked to think out words related to the fashion fair. Add more words, such as fashion trends, fashion design contests and so on. 2. Look and match. (Activity 1) Have a look at the six pictures with Ss. Ask them to match the words with the pictures. 3. Discuss and choose. (Activity 2) What activity should be included in the fashion fair Ss are asked to discuss in pairs and choose the activities. 4. Listen and judge. (Activity 3) Ss are asked to read the sentences by themselves. Then listen to the tape and decide if they are right. (设计意图:通过对服装展览会的脑力风暴,激活学生的背景知识,回忆已经学过的词 汇并增加新的专业术语。在此基础上通过活动三熟悉常用交易会的基本句型,为以后的 听说打好基础。) Step II Listening and speaking 1. Listen and decide. (Activity 4) After reading the sentences in the book, Ss listen to the tape and write down “T” / ”F”. They are asked to try to correct the sentences if they are wrong. And then check the answers. (设计意图:通过阅读所给句子,预测内容,便于学生捕捉关键信息。) 2. Listen and complete. (Activity 5) 1) Let Ss go through the form; explain the words if necessary. 2) Listen and complete. 3) Check the answers. (设计意图:培养学生养成良好的学习习惯,在听前先看清问题,这样有助于听力的有 效性,也容易完成任务,得到成就感。) 3. Listen and underline. (Activity 6) Ss listen to the tape again and underline the questions for information.
