Unit 10 That’s what has been my dream work. (第四课时教学设计) 一、教材分析 1. 教学内容 本课时系教材《英语3(基础模块)》(高教版)第十单元的第四课时,包括Language in use 中的Vocabulary 和 Unit task 两部分。主要通过具体语境中使用和操练本单元词汇和短语, 并让学生运用本单元所学语言完成一个真实的任务。 2. 教学重点、难点 (1) 教学重点 ① 使学生熟练掌握和使用本单元重点词汇和短语。 ② 让学生设计介绍成功人士的海报。 (2) 教学难点 让每个学生参与讨论和设计中来。 二、教学目标 1. 知识目标 掌握并巩固本单元的重点词汇和短语。 2. 能力目标 学生通过阅读、讨论等方法的应用,能完成相应的任务。 3. 情感目标 在活动过程中,学生能互相协助,相互交流,意识到合作的重要性。 三、教学步骤 Step I Vocabulary practice 1. Read and check. (Activity 20) (1) Ss read the five sentences and think whether they are true for themselves. (2) Ss are asked to find out the segmentation structure. (设计意图:通过正确理解句子,并寻找分词结构,巩固本单元所学语法。) 2. Read and complete. (Activity 21) Ss read the dialogue and complete the sentences. (设计意图:使学生在理解的基础上应用词汇,是对学生所学词汇和短语的总结。) 3. Discuss and talk. (Activity 22) (1) Ss work in groups to discuss how to answer the questions according to the reason given. (2) Ss act out the dialogues. (设计意图:通过本活动是对学生词汇和短语学习的总结,检查学生是否能在一定的情 境中恰当使用词汇短语。) Step II Unit Task 1. Discuss and write down. Discuss in groups. Write down a successful person they are interested in. (设计意图:让学生讨论写出一个成功人士,引出单元任务话题。) 2. Make a research. Ss use the Internet to find some pictures and useful information about him or her on the Internet. 3. Discussion. Ss discuss among groups the most important factors for his / her successful careers. 4. Presentation. Make a presentation in class. The following aspects should be mentioned. (1) general introduction (2) major achievements (3) the most important events in his / her life (4) comments on his / her success. 5. Make a poster. Discuss in groups to make a poster to introduce the successful person. 6. Share the posters. Ss share the posters to enjoy the creations. And choose the best one.
