Unit 1 People around us 第四课时(Period 4) 教学内容 Writing(pp.12-13) 主要语篇 My nice neighbour Yao Yuan 教学目标 通过本课的学习，学生能够： 1.了解写作的目的、文体及要求。 2.确定描述喜爱的人的角度并仿照范文完成一篇英语短文。 3.通过自评和互评，改进初稿的结构、内容和语言。 4.学会发现身边人的闪光点。 教学重点 运用本单元所学知识，写一篇关于自己喜爱的人的英语短文，并通过自 评和互评作修改。 教学难点 1.撰写文章时使用主题句及支撑性细节，关注上下文逻辑。 2.通过自评和互评，改进初稿的结构、内容和语言。 【教学过程】 Step1 学校网站《我所喜爱的人》专题在征集稿件，大家可以投稿写自己喜爱的人。在 教师介绍写作任务后，学生初步确定描写的人选，并开展头脑风暴，讨论可以描写人物 哪些方面的内容。教师以列表的形式记录在黑板上。例如： Possible answers: Who is this person Where is he/she from What's his/her age What does he /she look like What is he/she like What is his/her hobby What does he /she do Step 2 引导学生观察Wang Yao所列举的提示问题，并带领学生将 Step 1所列举的内容 和 Wang Yao所列举的内容进行融合。 Step 3 引导学生阅读Wang Yao的文章，将其所列举的提示问题和各个段落进行匹配并 要求学生回答问题。 Step 4 引导学生关注Wang Yao 文章中描述写作对象所使用的形容词，以及对人物语言 和行为的描写，同时关联阅读板块的阅读技巧并提出对应的写作技巧。 Describing people 1. We can describe what a person is like by using adjectives.For example, · My nice neighbour Yao Yuan. · He is kind and hard-working. · Yao Yuan is an amazing person. 2.His/Her words and actions also help us describe who he/she is. 3.Use topic sentences and supporting details to organize your paragraphs.
