The journey was long, and as she flew to England, Rosa spent much of the time imagining what her new life would be like. She was determined to do well at school and make her parents proud. However, when she arrived at the airport in London, it was not quite as she had imagined at all. Worst of all was the feeling that everybody was looking at her with strange eyes. Rosa noticed with surprise that she was the only one wearing a scarf. London proved to be a very strange and unfamiliar place. It rained constantly every day during the first week, and Rosa was unimpressed with what she thought was British summertime. She introduced herself, shared her milkshake with Rosa, and said, “I think your scarf looks cool.” In return for her kindness, Rosa took out four biscuits from her pocket and shared them with Emily. Soon the two were lost in games, running about in the corner of the playground. They exchanged stories—Rosa told Emily all about life in Tehran, and Emily told Rosa about all of the cool things she could do in London. 注意: 1. 续写词数应为150个左右; 2. 请按如下格式在相应位置作答。 As the days went by, Rosa and Emily became good friends. _____ _____ One day, Emily invited Rosa to a picnic in the park. _____ _____ One possible version: As the days went by, Rosa and Emily became good friends.
