【Teaching Design】 Acupuncture:Magic needles XB2Unit3 Extended reading 所属学科： 高中英语 课 程 ： 适用对象： Acupuncture:Magic needles 高二学生 授课人： Miss Long 授课时长：一课时（45 分钟） 授课内容：Acupuncture:Magic needles 教学背景分析 本课选自高中新译林版教材选择性必修二第三单元的extended reading部分。随着普通高中英语课程标准的不断深化实施，英语教学不仅关注语言知识的积累与运用，更强调思维品质、文化意识与核心素养的整体提升。针灸作为中国传统医学的重要代表，体现出中华文化的智慧与独特的哲学思维。通过对针灸文化的英文文本学习，能有效增强学生对中华优秀传统文化的认同感和自豪感，培养学生的文化传播意识，提升跨文化交流能力。 学情分析 本课授课对象为高二年级学生。知识层面,学生对针灸大致了解，但用英语介绍中国传统文化仍感陌生；能力层面,部分学生能初步提取信息，但缺乏结构化表达和深入理解的能力；兴趣与态度,对“神秘东方文化”有兴趣，愿意尝试表达，特别在小组合作中积极；主要困难,部分学生在多段阅读中把握主旨结构较弱，语言表达不够流畅。 教学设计 本堂课以数字人“我想拜华佗为师”为主线，设置趣味闯关情境，引出针灸主题。教师首先引导学生快速浏览课文，掌握文章结构与核心内容，完成任务一，开启“拜师挑战”。接着通过图表填空、时间轴整理等任务，引导学生细读文本，了解针灸的发展历程、诊断方式、治疗原理及其全球影响等关键信息。在完成知识积累后，学生以小组为单位，完成最终任务：以英文向外国友人介绍针灸，实现语言输出与文化传播的结合。最终，数字人闯关成功，华佗授予“文化推广使者”身份，教师借此引导学生感悟中国传统医学的魅力与时代价值，激发文化自信。整节课依托任务驱动与情境创设，融合think-pair-share、小组合作等方式搭建支架，帮助学生在真实有趣的语境中实现语言能力与文化素养的协同提升，达成教学目标。 教学目标 In this class, students will be able to: 1.grasp a basic understanding of acupuncture. 2.learn to express key ideas of acupuncture in English. 3.realize the importance and uniqueness of acupuncture and develop a sense of cultural confidence and awareness in promoting Chinese culture. 教学重点 To understand the logical structure and major content of the article. 教学难点 To explain abstract cultural and medical concepts in a foreign language. 教学方法 Task-based Language Teaching、Communicative Approach、Total Situational Action Teaching Design: 步骤 教学活动 教学意图 Step1 Lead in (3mins) T greets students and shows a short animation where a digital character expresses the wish to become Hua Tuo’s apprentice and learn acupuncture.
