Write a journal entry to record the experiences and feelings of the first week of high school life according to the model journal entry. 2. Learn self-reflection. ●Emotional objective: Cultivate good habits of recording and summarizing their study and daily school life. 教学内容 Key points: 1. To guide Ss to learn about the structure and outline of the diary. 2. To guide Ss to use correctly some words, expressions and sentence patterns of "journal entry" and transitional vocabulary . Guide Ss to go through My First Day at Senior High ,Making a plan, developing ideas and Writing a journal entry to find the words, expressions and sentence structures. Guides Ss to pay attention to the tense and the content. According to the questions, try your best to find the answers. Read the passages quickly and find some words, expressions and sentence structures to express experiences and feelings. Try your best to remember the words, expressions and sentence structures 1.To practise students’ ability to analyse and summarize the reading text. Help students to master plenty of words, expressions , sentence structures , correct tense and correct sentences. 3.Provide Ss plenty of words, expressions to for Ss to write a good journal entry . Think and Share(4 min) Ask Ss a question to lead them to think about some other expressions. Work in pairs and discuss.
