教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 英语 年级 高二 学期 秋季 课题 The Sky Railway 教学目标 After this class, students are expected to: 1.get the genre of passage ; 2.understand the challenges when built the railway station and solutions to overcome them; 3.have a sense of pride after knowing how the workers completed this “impossible” railway. 教学重点： 1. Find out the challenges and solutions that workers met under construction 2. Inspire student’s national pride and honor. 教学难点： Introduce the Qinghai-Tibet Railway by using the vocabulary and phrases they have learned and mastered in this passage. 教学内容分析 此文语篇类型为游记。作者通过描述自己的一次“天路”之旅，回顾了建设者们在青藏铁路修建过程中始终以生态保护为前提，克服重重困难，最终建成这条“不可能建成的”铁路的历程，表达了自己作为其中一名建设者的自豪之情，也表达了工程建设要以生态保护为前提的环保理念。 教学对象分析 学生词汇基础参差不齐,呈梯度分布,学生英语学习程度基本上是呈现椭圆形分布,有一些理解能力相对较强的,也有一些学习英语有障碍的学生。学生的阅读理解能力有逐字逐词翻译并且有中式英语的思维倾向.对于本单元的新词也有一定的背诵障碍.因此在教授学生学习本课内容之前,要进行基本的词汇清障. 教学方法 Communicative Teaching Method; Task-based Teaching Method. 教学过程 Before the class 核对在教学助手平台上发送给学生的单词预习效果检测卷答案，核对完后学生齐读单词。【设计思路】了解学生预习情况，借此熟悉课文相关词汇，为学生理解文章扫清单词障碍。 Ⅰ. Lead-in 1.Draw Ss’ attention to some splendid pictures about Tibet and ask students how to travel here to enjoy the scenery. 【设计思路】To activate Ss’ background knowledge and stimulate Ss to explore more . Ⅱ. Pre-reading 1.Watch a video about Qinghai-Tibet Railway while listening the song “TianLu”. 2.Work in pairs to complete the quiz. 【设计思路】伴着《天路》悠扬的旋律，欣赏着西藏壮丽的自然风光，一辆列车翻山越岭穿越雪域高原疾驰而过，学生既可以使《天路》的歌词引入眼帘，并且带入充沛的情感，同时看着视频中的字幕，可以简单了解青藏高铁的建成史，一举多得。 Ⅲ.
