Unit 8 That’s how most accidents happen. （第二课时教学设计） 一、教材分析 1. 教学内容 本课时系教材《英语3（基础模块）》（高教版）第八单元的第二课时，包括reading and writing部分。课文通过阅读介绍住房安全注意事项，训练学生从文中提取和自己生活居住安全 相关信息的能力。 2. 教学重点、难点 1. 教学重点 训练学生扫读获取细节信息的能力。 学生通过仔细阅读，提取信息后完成信息表。 2. 教学难点 在活动前介绍扫读的方法，在阅读过程中注意对学生进行阅读方法的指导， 从而达到培 养学生学习能力的目的。 二、教学目标 1. 知识目标 能运用祈使句表达意见或建议。 2. 技能目标 能读懂有关注意安全事项的短文并概括其主旨。 能在图片和文字提示下运用关键词和短语描述有关的安全注意事项。 3. 情感目标 通过读写活动，能让学生注意个人和公共安全，树立文明和谐的社会公德意识。 三、教学步骤 Step I Lead-in 1. Look and match (Activity 10) 1) The students read the pictures. Describe them in English. 2) The students will work in pairs to discuss the pictures and the information. The teacher explains some keywords or phrases. 3) Read the information and match the pictures individually. 4) Check the answer and give the feedback.
